Mary Dennis
Mary Dennis is a dental assistant at Yukon Dental Care. She has been a member of the team since 2012 after starting out as a patient of Dr. Taylor's for five years before joining his dental team. Mary started as the Receptionist and Scheduling Coordinator where she handled insurance inquiries and patient accounts. Mary now has her radiation, nitrous, and coronal polishing certification in order to be Dr. Taylor's dental assistant.
"Taking care of others and helping them through difficult times is a passion of mine. I love to spend time with my husband Eric, caring for our three children, and our two fur babies. Some of my favorite hobbies are painting, dancing, and gardening."
Tammy Damasiewicz
Tammy Damasiewicz is the supervising assistant at Yukon Dental Care. She has worked for Dr. Taylor since 2006. She has the widest range of responsibilities among the staff which includes everything from managing insurance claims and controlling inventory to negotiating with vendors and assisting in direct patient care. Tammy has her certifications in radiation safety, administration of nitrous oxide and coronal polishing. "I was a patient at Yukon Dental for 6 years before coming to work for the Taylors. I really enjoy being a dental assistant and helping people. When not at work, I love spending time with my son and granddaughter. My hobbies include fishing, any kind of exercise activity - especially Zumba, and baking."
Julie Taylor, RDH
Julie Taylor, RDH is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, College of Dentistry. She has been a full -time hygienist since 1996, and has been at Yukon Dental Care since 2001. Her job encompasses most preventive services including patient education, routine cleanings, sealants, periodontal therapy, and new patient orientation. She grew up in south central Oklahoma and has been married to Dr. Taylor since 1990. Her interests include most anything outdoors, particularly boating, camping, fishing and hiking. She also loves animals, plants, books and music.
"I am lucky to have chosen a career that suits me perfectly. I love getting to meet new people every day and getting to visit with my "regulars". Cleaning my patient's teeth gives me such a sense of satisfaction! My goal every day is to have someone say, "Wow. That was the best cleaning I've ever had," or "You are so gentle, that didn't hurt one bit." The practice of dental hygiene can vary greatly, depending on the type of practice and the motivation of the hygienist or supervising dentist. My style is fairly laid-back. I try to say what needs to be said without criticizing or judging and I try to take the time to ease my patients into treatment. Oral health is an ongoing, life-long process. I would rather fall short of my clinical goal on a particular day if it means that an anxious or skeptical patient will be happy and willing to come see me again."
Bryan R. Taylor, DDS
Dr Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemisty with a minor in Mathematics from East Central University in 1992. He then went on to a career in Biomedical Research at the Oklahoma Medical Research foundation. In 2001, he graduated from The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Dr. Taylor is currently a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association (ODA) and the American Dental Association (ADA). He is now trained and certified to offer BOTOX® treatments through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). "I strive to be a compassionate doctor who takes pride in paying close attention to each patient's needs. Our dedicated staff works together as a team to provide high-quality comprehensive care."
